The Infrastructure Behind What’s Next.

Building a powered campus takes more than land and electricity. PowerBridge is bringing together the critical systems needed to support next-generation digital development, from on-site generation and a private electrical network to industrial water, fiber and prepared land.

Power Generation

Where will Alpha Digital get its electricity?

Alpha Digital is being developed around a straightforward idea: new electricity generation should accompany new electricity demand.

With more than 2 GW of planned on-site generation, deployed in phases, the campus is designed to meet its own electricity needs while contributing excess power to the ERCOT grid. PowerBridge’s long-term objective is to be a net producer of electricity, with exports on most days and a power-neutral position when generation and campus demand are balanced.

Building Power in Phases

In July 2026, PowerBridge and Liberty Energy announced the formation of a strategic joint venture through Liberty Power Innovations to advance power generation at Alpha Digital.

The initial phase is expected to include more than 300 MW of generation capacity, with first power anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2027 and deployment continuing into the first half of 2028.

The joint venture is focused on supporting the planned 2 GW campus, with the potential for additional generation phases as development progresses.

Building power in phases

PowerBridge is advancing the initial generation phase in partnership with Liberty Energy, through Liberty Power Innovations. The announced initial phase is expected to include more than 300 MW of generation capacity, with first power targeted for the fourth quarter of 2027 and deployment continuing into the first half of 2028.

Additional generation phases are planned as the campus develops. Liberty’s announced initial-phase role should not be portrayed as an agreement to deliver the entire planned 2+ GW of generation.

What is a Withdrawal-Limited Private Use Network?

A WLPUN is a type of private use network with co-located generation and electricity demand, designed to operate under a defined limit on electricity withdrawals at the grid connection. It does not mean the facility is prohibited from taking any power from the grid. ERCOT’s review determines the applicable conditions and limits.

Water Infrastructure

Will Alpha Digital use community water supplies?

PowerBridge is committed to using no municipal or community water for industrial operations at Alpha Digital. Instead, the campus's water strategy prioritizes non-potable water sources, helping preserve the water resources local communities depend on.

WaterBridge Infrastructure is expected to support the sourcing, treatment and delivery of non-potable industrial water as the campus develops. Specific cooling technologies and water requirements will depend on the needs and designs of future campus customers.

Water for basic building needs, such as drinking water and restrooms, will be addressed as facilities are developed, with an emphasis on responsible sourcing and efficient use.

Fiber Connectivity

How will Alpha Digital connect to the digital economy?

Data centers need high-capacity, dependable fiber connections to support cloud computing and artificial intelligence operations. PowerBridge is advancing connectivity infrastructure intended to connect Alpha Digital with regional and national networks.

As the fiber program develops, PowerBridge plans to share more information about network connectivity and the role of its specialist infrastructure partners.

Land & Site Development

What is happening at the property today?

In April 2026, LandBridge and PowerBridge announced a lease development agreement for Alpha Digital on LandBridge-owned property in Reeves County, near the Waha natural gas hub. The agreement provides PowerBridge with the option to lease land for long-term development while advancing site preparation, planning and necessary approvals.

Site preparation began in September 2026, with crews preparing the property for future power generation, electrical infrastructure and data center facilities. Development will continue in phases as the project progresses.
